Toning Thighs Exercises


It would stand to good reason that you would want to tone your thighs because they are one of the sexiest parts of your body. Strong thighs are a good sign that you are in good shape, and can have you feeling alive and sexy, which in turn lifts your mood… tremendously!

Having sexy legs and being fit in general, requires effort on your part to maintain it in your busy lifestyle. It is very convenient to live your life without ever having to work out, but we all know the end result is a less youthful life – which leads to one being old, and who wants to feel old and be considered old? Having beautiful legs requires you to perform workouts for your thighs and if you’re after exercises to tone your thighs quickly read three of the most effective ‘toning thighs’ workouts below

Squats

Squats are considered the best work out for the legs because it targets the major leg muscle groups. Whilst the standard squatting exercise is a great work out for your thighs, there is a variation of this that targets the thigh muscles specifically to give you a better work out

Stand with your feet shoulder length apart, toes facing forward or slightly angled outward for a better balance when performing the exercise. Outstretch your arms in front of you, and keeping your back straight, slowly bend your knees and lower your hips towards the floor. Keep you abs pulled in tight and your torso straight as you lower yourself so your thighs are parallel to the floor, and then slowly come back up to the starting position. This is a brilliant exercise that will tone your thighs efficiently. Hold dumbbells out straight to increase resistance

Lunges

Lunges are excellent for toning thighs because you use your thigh muscles specifically when performing the exercise. As with squats, your technique is important to give you thighs a good workout. Keep your back straight and your hands on your hips, take a step forward with your left foot, bending your left knee so that your thigh is parallel to the floor. Your right leg should be slightly bent but not touching the floor as all your body weight will be on the leg you a lunging (left in this description). Perform this exercise slowly, alternating between lunging the left leg and then the right leg, and remember to keep your abs pulled in tight and maintain a good posture

Bike Riding

As well as being an excellent way of losing weight, bike riding is a brilliant approach for toning thighs because again, you are working your leg muscles specifically. Whether you prefer bike riding in the gym, or outdoors, you can rest assured that you’ll be toning your thighs fast by performing this exercise 2-3 times a week. It is also a simple exercise to perform – you simple ride the bike! To increase the resistance to your thigh muscles, remain seated on the bike whilst riding, and ride uphill on occasion
