How To Get Slimmer Calves
Having toned calves is usually a good indicator of how fit you are. The appearance of toned calves symbolises sexiness in women, and strength in men. If you are performing lower body exercises and have rather large legs that you want to slim down then targeting your calf muscles is a good idea because by doing so you will be targeting the focal point in what represents great legs – the calf muscles!
So how do you tone and get slimmer calves? You simply perform calf raises!
To perform this exercise you raise your heels off the floor, hold for a count of five, and then drop them down again. Perform 15-25 reps at a time, and with light weights if desired. Doing this exercise, as well as jogging, or skipping, is a great way to get slimmer calves. Standing on a step to perform this exercise is also a benefit as you will have more range to raise and drop your heels.
