Best Bum Exercises
Okay, so you’ve decided that you want a sexy firm tight bum and want to know what the best bum exercises are, right?
Well then you’ll be glad to know that the best bum exercises do not require the use of some fancy machine in the gym or for the home. In fact, most of the best bum exercises only require your body weight, or some weights – some free weights. Here are five of the best bum exercises that you can perform to give you that tight, fit feeling and look you deserve
- Squats – these are one of the best exercises for the bum, and probably the most common bum exercise that has many variations. To perform this exercise, you stand with your feet shoulder length apart, and squat. You’ll want to ensure you’re maintaining a good technique whilst performing this exercise – doing so in front of a mirror will be handy, keeping your back straight and ensuring your knees are behind your toes as you squat
- Bike riding – is an excellent cardiovascular exercise that will target almost every muscle in your bum, thighs and hips. If using a stationary bike (in the gym), set the bike on a ‘mixed course’, which will give you a thorough workout with hills and valleys and level ground riding. If riding outdoors, include riding uphill as part of your routine. This is especially brilliant for strengthening the bum. Remember to stay seated to really target your bum
- Kick Boxing – fun and exhilarating, kick boxing is a great exercise for the bum as a repetition of controlled kicks tones and strengthens your behind and also tones your abs. If you are aiming to lose the calories as well as tone your body then kick boxing come highly recommended
- Hip Extensions – whilst other bum exercises work on more muscle groups, this exercise is solely for the bum. You wear ankle weights (or use a dumbbell) for this exercise for added intensity. For this exercise, you put both hands on the floor and bend your knees, squeezing your bum as you raise your feet straight up to the ceiling. This is one of the best bum exercises for toning your bum!
- Walking – this is the simplest bum exercise which you can perform anywhere, anytime, and does not require any equipments. The great thing about this exercise is that there is no learning curve or technique to consider. You simply walk! To pick up the intensity, you walk faster, up a hill, and/or use ankle weights. It really is that simple… and enjoyable!
